Our Purpose
The purpose and goal of the Message In the Music Campaign is to use music, and the performing arts to promote unity and love in the community and to channel the creative talent of the artists to raise the community’s collective conscious awareness around social issues that impact our community.
Our Movement
We are seeking to unite the entire conscious artist community in the DMV first then all over the nation. We are inviting all artists, spoken word poets, comedians, singers, dancers and community and spiritual leaders to join the MITM movement to use their God-given talents and gift towards uplifting our community.
Our Shows
We will showcase DMV’s finest talents in Poetry, Positive Hip-hop, R&B, Comedy, Gospel, Spoken Word, Dancers, Vendors, Painters and more. Therefore, we are inviting all artists, and community and spiritual leaders to come and support this community event to contribute towards healing and uplifting our community.
Programs
Message in the Music propose to offer inner-city & disadvantaged youth & young adults the following services for using their gifts and talents to help uplift the Black Community.
